the city of the depressed

There is a breed of goldfish in the world, which originated in China, called an Oranda. This breed of Goldfish is characterized by a prominent bubble-like “hood” on the head. A few decades ago an Oranda found it’s way into an aquarium, here, at The City.

Perhaps it was (and still is) due to the properties of our water, but -in comparison with the “regular” Oranda -this bubblehead grew into a second fish. Since then, it is know as the Ororananda. It takes about two years for the Ororanada’s siamese self to develop.

This fishy creature is very popular at The City but it is terribly hard to keep. Unfortunately, not every owner of this magnificent mutant succeeds in keeping it alive long enough for it to grow into a double.
